After we waited 45 minutes, we were told our confirmed booking couldn't be honored because the room had been double-booked. With everything nearby already full, we were left without a place to stay. It was a huge waste of time and felt completely unprofessional. Very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The breakfast table is communal, so you have to share it with strangers first thing in the morning. The shower was filthy, mosquitoes were everywhere, and while the bedding was clean, it didn’t feel four-star. The towels were frayed too. I honestly can’t see how this place gets four-star reviews by South African standards.

The deck has a fantastic outlook over the ocean, Lion’s Head and the apostles. The hosts are really friendly, and you’re close to Camps Bay, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head and plenty more. I’d happily recommend staying here for a few days.

The owner made us feel right at home, and the terrace views of Table Mountain and Lion's Head are breathtaking. Camps Bay Beach and the city bowl are only a short drive away. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it.
