There’s room for a group of eight here, and the layout works well both indoors and out. On sunny mornings we enjoyed the indoor-outdoor space, while the fireplace made the chilly evenings comfortable. The pool takes up much of the yard and was a bit cold for swimming in fall, but there’s a lawn just past the back gate where kids can play. Sand toys and beach towels are provided, along with coffee and tea. The grocery store is under ten minutes away, though having a car would help. The house is just steps from the beach, with lovely sea views from the top floor.

The owner was warm and helpful, and there’s a shopping Centre nearby for groceries, plus a farm stall with wonderful sauces and preserves. The house itself is beautifully decorated in a contemporary style, and the kitchen had everything we needed, with impressive attention to detail. It sits right on a peaceful beach with breathtaking views, a nice spot for exercising. There’s even a yoga mat if you want to practice on the balcony. My concern was the cleaning. The toilets and floors hadn’t been cleaned properly on the first day, and the towels were stained and discolored. As a healthcare worker, hygiene matters to me, especially during a pandemic. Even with that issue, it was a fantastic holiday.

The calm, serene feeling hits as soon as you walk through the door. We were drawn straight outside to the beach, barefoot, and the views were splendid at sunrise and sunset. I’d happily stay here again.
