The apartment itself is beautiful, fully equipped, and in an amazing location. Those views, wow. I walked past the building about ten times while running errands elsewhere in the city and kept wishing the experience had been better so I could stay there. Getting to my room meant going through four access tag or card stops, which I found disheartening. The seventh floor smelled like a hotbox when I arrived, then later all I could smell was garlic. Nobody helped with my bags. There were no blinds on the windows, which felt a bit weird even though nobody could see inside. The cupboard door on the room divider and the kitchen's top cutlery drawers were broken.

There's plenty close by, including groceries, restaurants, and convenience stores, and it's not a bad place to call home. Still, the units are very overpriced, and the facilities should be nicer for what you pay.

It isn't a new building, but it's well managed and looked after. At 31 floors, it's one of the tallest buildings in Cape Town CBD.
