The sunrises were breathtaking, and we felt welcome, comfortable, and safe throughout our three weeks at the Four Palms Guesthouse. Our family of four stayed in two separate rooms in December 2025, with privacy and everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. Carina Viljoen was a lovely, hospitable host, and the staff were friendly and professional. From the fresh bedding to the yummy rusks left for us each morning with tea and coffee, it was a luxurious stay. Five stars from the Grote family.

We had a lovely stay in Durbanville. The rooms are beautiful and really spacious, and the staff were so friendly. Service was excellent. It’s close to several wine farms and a huge shopping mall, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Carina gave us a very warm welcome and shared helpful tips about the area. Everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help. Our clean, modern room looked out onto the garden from the ground floor, with plenty of space and a roomy cupboard for clothes. Four palms is near Durbanville’s shops and restaurants, and the wine farms are a short distance away. We had a great stay and would happily return.

I feel at home here, so trying somewhere else will be hard. This was my second visit, and I’ll keep recommending it to friends and work colleagues. The staff are a super friendly bunch and always try to give you the best. Rooms are clean, fresh and lovely, and breakfast is great.

The owner was so warm and kind, and breakfast was great. Everything felt fabulous, from the really clean rooms to the comfortable beds. Loved staying here :)
