A small, intimate space with beautiful garden views and everything we needed to feel at home away from home. It was definitely worth it. The host is such a spectacular, friendly person.

I’ve been coming back for nine years. Karin can give you the best directions for the easy 20-minute drive from the airport. It’s also easy to reach good supermarkets, including Sitari Checkers, Stellenbosch, the Western Cape coasts, Cape Town itself and the Garden Route via the N2. There are lovely hidden places along the coast, with no tourists around. The location is unique, and everything is well run and very clean. The host is super friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. It’s a perfect place to slow down and relax, with beautiful gardens for sitting and listening to birds and a nice pool to cool off in. Parking and WiFi are included. The room’s cooking facilities are well thought out, and there’s a BBQ outside with wood available on site. You also get your own terrace. Chickens and dogs wander freely in the garden and are all friendly, but they don’t come into the rooms.

We spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it. The place was clean and quiet, in a beautiful setting with a lovely garden. Our host was kind and accommodating, and everything we needed was provided. The fireplace made it so cosy, the bathtub was a dream, and the pool was fun too. Can’t wait to return.

Really good value, with a quiet location, easy airport access and a handy spot for both CPT and Stellenbosch. The owners were great, the rooms excellent, and the garden is amazing with palm trees, including a banana palm. There’s a pool and parking in a fenced yard, plus a kettle, microwave, cable TV, Wi-Fi and a balcony.
