The room was roomy and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Having parking on site was a big help, too. This was our first hotel in Cape Town, and it made a great first night and start to the trip. We loved the location.

We spent 20 days here on a business trip and felt at home thanks to the whole staff. We’d been to Hout Bay a few years ago, so this time we booked a longer stay. Banda, Ruwmbi, loveness, Yamakani and James were some of the nicest people we’ve met. Thanks to everyone on the team. We’ll definitely return. Breakfast was excellent, especially the egg dishes made fresh. Our room was lovely and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. We felt very comfortable during our three nights at this guesthouse. We also felt very safe in Hout Bay, while still following the usual safety advice and staying in after dark.

The owners run the place themselves, and they make you feel very welcome. I had three perfect nights, with a hearty breakfast every morning. On a hot day, the clean pool was great for a soak and a bit of relaxation.
