Greenpoint Guesthouse

I liked the quiet, no-frills feel at Greenpoint Port Guesthouse, and the minimal service worked fine for an independent traveler. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It's also an accessible base, just a few minutes from the V&A Waterfront and other main Cape Town attractions.

We couldn't have asked for a better place. The big room was clean, had all the facilities we needed, and the beds were comfortable. Blake was so friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. There’s a large shared room with a kitchen, strong Wi-Fi in the room, and private parking. The area felt safe, and supermarkets are an easy walk away.

The host was warm and helpful, and the rooms were clean. We could walk to the V&A Waterfront from this safe, pleasant neighborhood. There's gated private parking, and the solar power meant no loadshedding. Great value for money, highly recommended.

We could walk to the Waterfront, but the place itself was really quiet. Our room was cleaned every day, and we had a remote so we could come and go as we liked. The host was very helpful and accommodating. It's basic, clean, secure accommodation with lock-up parking in a central location. I'd definitely return.
