We loved this guesthouse and would definitely return to this lovely find in Hout Bay. Our room had modern furnishings with a nautical feel that suited the harbour, and we spent the evening with a bottle of wine on the patio, looking across the bay at the mountains. Everything we wanted to see was close by. We walked to the harbour and had breakfast at the Hout Bay market, then took a boat trip to Seal Island and went for a beach walk. It's a great base for enjoying Hout Bay's attractions.

We tried a few guesthouses in Hout Bay, and this was easily our best stay. It's well priced, in a great spot, and the hosts were lovely. The room was nice, very clean, and well organized, close to the harbour and markets where we had a lot of fun on weekends. Thanks for having us, we'll be back.

The guesthouse is clean and secure, and it's close to the beach and harbour with a lovely view of Chapmanspeak. I've stayed here for 18 years, from the Harbour Master days through to Harbour End, and none of our belongings have ever gone missing. Tamlyn did a great job renovating it. You can see a woman's touch in every room, and she's friendly and helpful. A must-stay when visiting Cape Town, especially Hout Bay.
