Some flats have really stunning views of Table Mountain, and the Biscuit Mill is nearby. It’s also close to the city, though I’d take an Uber at night instead of walking to the MyCity bus stop. The tenants I met seemed friendly, and there’s security control at the entrance.

The apartments are modern and beautiful, with a nice aerial view.

The smell on my floor is intense, with cigarette and Cannabis odors coming into my apartment. Noise is another major problem: illegal street parties happen near the building on weekdays and weekends, people party in parked cars, and Airbnb parties go on at all hours. Kids at two houses on the road scream and blow vuvuzelas day and night, all week. HARBOURING SECURITY does nothing to help with the noise. There’s also a parking problem during loadshedding. If you’re already in the locked parking garage, security will let you leave, but if you come home from work during loadshedding, they won’t let you back into the building. You have to park outside and wait until power returns before bringing your car in. They refuse to use a manual switch to open the garage doors, even though I’m a tenant. Think twice before moving here. If you’re a clubber and partygoer who doesn’t mind noise, street parking, and the smell, it may suit your lifestyle.

Great views of the mountain, and the location is very convenient, right by Old biscuit Mill and Woodstock Brewery.
