Jochen and Daniela were lovely hosts. Breakfast was great, with eggs made to order however you like them. They offered advice when we needed it and gave us space to relax, too. The rooms were clean, and having two blankets meant my girlfriend and I could finally sleep peacefully. The location worked perfectly for us: Chapmans Peak and Noordhoek Beach are to the left, and Camps Bay or Sea Point are about 20 minutes away. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the full breakfasts each morning, especially the delicious bakery surprise of the day. Jochen and Daniela were great hosts, and the guest house was clean and in a more than satisfactory location. We'd definitely recommend Hout Bay Lodge and look forward to coming back.

The hosts went above and beyond, and breakfast was delicious. Everything was super clean, and there was secure parking. We liked the location, too. Most places were 20-30 minutes away, including beautiful beaches, scenic roads, hiking trails, climbing, good restaurants, wineries and Table National Park.

The view made the stay worthwhile on its own. Jochen and Daniela were wonderful hosts in Hout Bay and did more than expected to make my visit enjoyable. I’d gladly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area.
