Even though Igadi House is right in the middle of town, it feels calm and quiet. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with spotless interiors and lovely walk-in showers. Breakfast was excellent, and Cecile is such a gracious host. Her staff are delightful too. This was my second visit.

Just two minutes from Kloof Street, iGadi boutique hotel is perfectly placed. Cecile, the owner, is warm and attentive to every detail. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is gourmet. I can’t imagine a better Cape Town stay, highly recommended.

Cecile gave us such a lovely welcome with her French charm. The hotel is beautifully put together, with a little Rijksmuseum feel. Our room was spacious, nice and very clean, and there’s a parking place right in front.

We were welcomed with a smile by the owner, who was lovely throughout. The rooms are a great size, comfortable and practical, and it was nice to sit outside in the courtyard or on the balcony. It’s a great guesthouse / boutique hotel base for this part of Cape Town, with Kloof’s shops, restaurants and coffee places all walkable, plus the centre and Bree Street nearby.

We stayed with our three boys, aged 14, 12 and 9, and really recommend it. It’s an oasis of peace in the city, with comfortable rooms and beds. There are lots of good restaurants and facilities nearby, and breakfast was incredible. Cécile is a fantastic host.
