Plotsklaps Self Catering Cottage

Plotsklaps Self Catering Cottage is in a great location, very clean, and comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Rachael and David are what make it special, though. Their genuine care and warm welcome made us feel looked after. We hope to return, and I'd absolutely recommend it.

Dave and Rachael were so welcoming, and even arranged a delicious breakfast for us. We loved the private outdoor area, plus access to the owners' inviting pool. The house was spacious, spotless, and well equipped, with two comfortable bedrooms for up to five people and two bathrooms. It's conveniently close to the city and a good base for exploring the surrounding area. A safe, comfortable, memorable stay in Cape Town, highly recommended.

Our kids loved the friendly dog, the garden, and especially the pool, so it worked really well for families. The annexe behind the main house, viewed from the pool, gave us privacy. We shared the lovely, spacious outdoor area with the owners and enjoyed a friendly chat with them, while still feeling they gave us room. The self-catering house is well equipped and well placed for visiting attractions around Cape Town, as long as you have a car.

The cottage was roomy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our two young kids had plenty of books and toys, and loved the pool and play area. Rachael and David checked in before we arrived about our requirements, and had complimentary milk, eggs, fruit, cheese, bread, and other items in the fridge. They made sure we had what we needed and were happy for us to invite friends over for a braai in their large entertainment area. The location was quiet and away from main roads, but close enough to the places we wanted to visit. We felt very safe and would recommend it to family and friends. We'd definitely consider booking again on our next Cape Town visit.
