Mutual Heights brings together Cape Town's architectural past and modern urban renewal. Its historic character and Art Deco details sit alongside contemporary living, making it stand out for residents and visitors alike. You can explore its artistic touches or enjoy its central location for a distinctive look at the city's past and present.
What a beautiful historic building. The apartment feels luxurious, not outdated like you might expect, and has the everyday equipment you need. The view of Table mountain is stunning, and the area is nice and quiet. Long street is a 10-minute walk away, where every youngster dreams of being.
The apartment was furnished beautifully, and that bed felt luxurious. The building itself is an iconic place, restored with real care and right in the centre. When we needed a quick bite, the food court next door, in the former Wellington Fruitgrowers, was handy and tasty.
Mutual Heights has a striking Art Deco look. Set in Cape Town’s historic centre, it feels like part of the city’s landmark-rich landscape, a place with a lot of significance for South Africa.
Don’t decide too quickly. Different agencies manage the apartments, and this is one of my favourite places to stay in Cape Town. The architecture is extraordinary, and one of the 8th-floor units has a lovely view of Table Mountain.
