Marc, the host and owner, was the best. The atmosphere at MALAIKA LODGE felt so warm and welcoming, and it’s lovely for kids and the whole family. I had an amazing experience, and I’m sending lots of love and thanks. “Wonderful” doesn’t even cover it, that word still needs to be invented!

I haven’t been to the lodge myself since my son goes to the school across the road, but the pictures look great 😍

It’s a magnificent place, and the owner is happy with his new house. French people who enjoy red wine, and plenty of laughs. If you’re from the Vendée region and in Cape Town, this is an essential address. A must-visit for real French cousins in South Africa. One word: “You know it’s good.”

There’s not much choice in terms of stores, but the ones there are big and stock popular brands.
