Melkbosstrand Bed and Breakfast

Restaurants, shops, a garage, and the beach are all within walking distance, and the owners are lovely. The rooms are nice, with sports channels and fibre internet. Nothing seems too much trouble: they brought me a toaster and sorted other requests without questions, and even delivered breakfast to my room one day. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon worked well, and the shower was large and powerful. There are cooking appliances and a kitchen guests can use if needed. Couldn’t ask for more. I’d give it more stars if I could.

The rooms are cleaned every day without fail, including public holidays, and the bedding is changed regularly. Delene is right there to help whenever you need assistance, and you can park your car near your room, which has its own entrance. The bedding is comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit salad and a boere breakfast served in a good portion, including bacon, eggs, boerewors/mince, and baked beans. You may not have a sea view, but the beach is an easy walk away. Great service overall.

The owners and staff were very friendly, and we were well looked after. Our room was tidy, very clean, and comfortable.
