The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made me love this place. I spent four days here for my Theki seminar, and the rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and everything I needed. Breakfast was wonderful. Theresa looked after it so well, and her warm, kind nature made the mornings special. Valerie was a lovely, helpful host who always checked that everything was just right. I’ll definitely come back, 10/10! 🌟

We loved breakfast outdoors beneath the lemon trees, the roomy, comfortable rooms, and the relaxing view. Valerie was so welcoming and a wonderful host. It’s an amazing spot for a short or longer stay in Houtbay, and the best place we’ve stayed around Cape Town.

The pool area has stunning views, and breakfast was excellent. The freshly baked bread is the best I’ve had at a hotel so far. We really enjoyed staying at Mooibaai, with its spacious, nicely decorated rooms. Valérie was approachable and gave us great tips for seeing Capetown and the surrounding area.

We loved the calm, nature-filled feel at Mooibaai, a peaceful spot in Houtbay where it’s easy to get away from the daily rush. Valerie’s warm welcome and Parker’s friendly greeting made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The rooms are tastefully decorated and named after South African animals. There’s a tranquil pool and a fragrant lemon tree in the courtyard, and the small touches, like ear sticks in the bathroom, showed Valerie’s care for guests’ comfort. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wonderful spread to set us up for our planned outings. Mooibaai is conveniently close to Cape Town and the Winelands. It’s a lovely base for exploring the Cape or simply relaxing, and we can’t wait to return.

The freshly baked bread at breakfast was really good, and I can only recommend staying here. We had a wonderful time, felt very safe, and were able to relax well. The rooms are decorated with a lot of care and taste, and everyone was incredibly kind and accommodating.
