There are two outdoor spaces, which made the stay more comfortable. The chalet itself is roomy, practical, tastefully furnished, and in an excellent location. Recommended.

The host was warm and helpful, and her attention to detail showed in the cottage's layout and decor. We had a comfortable, lovely stay at Newlands Cottages, and the location worked really well for visiting UCT.

I've stayed at this immaculate cottage three times now, and it's been wonderful each time. It's a great base for seeing Cape Town, while UCT is just a short walk away. In winter, the wood fireplace brings extra charm and warms both the cottage and your heart. The hosts are delightful and very helpful.

We've returned to Clarkia Cottage twice so far and highly recommend it. It's a lovely Victorian cottage, kept in excellent condition inside and out, with a garden and fountain on the front deck and a bbq terrace at the back. The host is lovely too.
