We spent four nights at Number5 with our young kids and had a fantastic stay. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the staff gave us helpful suggestions for restaurants and things to see in Cape Town and nearby. It’s right by Table mountain and a lively street full of restaurants. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The hotel manager and staff made us feel so welcome, almost like we were staying at a friend’s home. They were the kindest people we met in Cape Town. My husband and I loved being able to walk everywhere from this perfect location.

Charl was there to welcome us even though we arrived late, and he was warm, friendly, and ready with useful suggestions whenever we needed help. Sandra always had a smile and made delicious breakfasts. We spent five nights at this comfortable, pleasant Guesthouse and loved the location. We’d recommend it.

The hosts were so kind, and the place is tastefully decorated. We also loved the comfortable bed, the breakfast, and its location in a safe neighbourhood. We had a great three-night stay, and the price felt fair for what we got. I’d come back and recommend it.

My room was small, but cozy, and the space was used well. I loved the terrace in the shared area, with its view of the quiet neighbourhood trees and flowers. Marie, Patricia, and Sandra were lovely and looked after me well, with plenty of tips for nearby places. The house is in a great spot close to Kloof street, where there are trendy restaurants and Cafes, and it’s nice to walk around in the daytime. Breakfast was good, made with quality ingredients, and there’s free water too. I’d definitely come back!
