The breakfasts were hearty, tasty, and nicely presented, and the staff were a great help with tickets to Robben Island and transport to the wine country. That made for a wonderful day out. We stayed three nights in September 2024, and I still think fondly of our time at this beautiful Cape Town guest house. Our room was one of the larger ones, though the smaller rooms are lovingly decorated too. Great service and a lovely property. Thank you all for making the stay so memorable.

We arrived worn out after a long flight, three hours before check-in, and Madery kindly kept our bags and got the room ready two hours early while we grabbed something to eat nearby. What a relief. The room was clean and comfortable, and there are shared rooms to sit in, plus a fridge with drinks. Breakfast was freshly made each day and exceptionally good. All the staff were so kind and nice. We really enjoyed staying here and plan to return at the end of our trip.

The host was wonderfully welcoming, and breakfast was plentiful and well cared for, served outside in the front yard. It’s a little farther from places like the waterfront, but it’s a cozy, quiet spot for a city break. I really enjoyed staying here.

Parker Cottage gave our family plenty of room to settle in. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their friendly, personal manner. They shared useful Cape Town tips, including both popular sights and local favorites. Breakfast was delicious, and the relaxed atmosphere felt attentive without being fussy. It’s a comfortable place with character, and a great base for exploring the city.

Parker Cottage was a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and there were nice shared spaces with couches and chimneys. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it!
