The view was the first thing that stayed with us, absolutely stunning. The place felt peaceful, and the decor was beautiful. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and they took care of our luggage. We had a comfortable stay, and the hot breakfast let us choose what we wanted. We’ve just got home from Switzerland, and Penguin Palace is right up there with the best places we’ve stayed. Many thanks.

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in ages, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We loved the spacious honeymoon suite, which was clean and tastefully decorated, and the views over Simonstown and the bay were amazing. It’s well situated, too. We’d happily come back for two nights. You won’t regret staying here.

Shirley and Innocent were so warm and accommodating, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. Our room was beautifully done, with a wonderful view over the harbour. Breakfast was great. I’d gladly stay at Penguin Palace again, and highly recommend it.

The room was fresh and clean, and I liked being able to set the temperature myself since it gets quite hot during the day. The included breakfast was wonderful, and the main road with its restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops is an easy walk away. Beautiful interior, lovely hosts and amazing views. I loved every minute and highly recommend the Penguin Palace ❤️

Nicola, Shirley, Innocent and Gift made us feel cared for, with thoughtful attention to detail and outstanding cleanliness. They also gave us excellent advice about the area. The room was beautifully decorated, both homely and luxurious, and breakfast was as good as at a top hotel. We honestly can’t think of a bad thing to say. You deserve to be a 5 star venue. Thanks so much, we’ll be back with the entire Gauteng gang!
