President Hotel

We arrived at our rooms late at night, and our Tour Director greeted us with instructions for our first trip, to Table Mountain after breakfast. I overslept and didn’t wake until 9:15am, so I’d missed the tour. I quickly got dressed and told Jay Jay, one of the hotel reps. He brought me to Imraan, the Hotel Concierge, who contacted my tour director straight away and arranged for me to meet the group at the next sightseeing stop in town. Imraan sorted out a taxi while I went to get breakfast to go. Olwethu, the hostess, immediately put together a takeaway box, picking what I wanted from each station. Thanks to both of them, I was still able to tour Table Mountain. I appreciated how caring and professional they were, and how quickly they resolved the problem. I highly recommend this hotel.

The outdoor space is lush, and the beds were so comfortable. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and we had an incredible time. Service by the pool was a little slow when we asked for drinks, and the showers had trouble keeping their temperature steady. Even so, we’d absolutely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful family holiday at The President Hotel in Cape Town. The views are magnificent, and it felt very family friendly, with lots of families and children enjoying their stays. Our room was spacious and clean, worked well for our family setup, and made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of sweet and savoury choices and live cooking stations where they made eggs just how you wanted. The reception team were welcoming, friendly and professional, so check-in and getting help during our stay went smoothly. Pool staff were attentive and ready to assist. We felt safe and at ease throughout, with security taken seriously both in and around the hotel. When we went out for dinner at night, the hotel arranged transport and made sure we got back safely around midnight. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town, especially families looking for comfort and peace of mind.

The pool’s recent renovation gives it a modern, stylish look, and there’s plenty to enjoy around it, including a pool bar for cocktails and a pizza oven. We found it easy to spend the day relaxing at the hotel. The Sea Point location is fantastic, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the service was excellent. Breakfast had a great selection, our room was clean, and the facilities felt well worth the price.
