I stayed at Swallow House in muizenberg for just over seven weeks, and Mass and Chenel were very warm and welcoming. It's peaceful, safe, and secure, with no noise at night. The location is brilliant: away from the bustle of the seaside restaurants but still within walking distance of things to do at any time of day or night. I highly recommend it for a couple or a single person. Thanks for accommodating me throughout my stay at swallow house.

This is a lovely home stay in the old village of Muizenberg, a short walk from the beach and restored promenade. You can walk to Kalk Bay in the morning and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze, or ask about a surf experience. If you're staying more than one night, ask the local in-house chef to make an authentic African meal, then enjoy some South African wine in the garden.

The sunflowers my husband arranged for me, and the care that went into all the little details, honestly brought me to tears. The owners are so lovely, too. I felt at home the second I got out of the car. It's a beautiful little hidden gem in the village, perfect for a quiet break close to home. This very happy mommy had such a good getaway, and I'll definitely be back.
