Vanessa welcomed us like a friend, and we felt at home at Oak Manor Guesthouse from the start. The room was beautiful, with all we needed for a comfortable stay and lots of thoughtful details. The location made things easy too, central and safe, close to shops and restaurants, and near the Two Oceans start line. We really didn’t want to leave. It was a dream stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The self-catering kitchenette in our room was a real bonus, and the parking and general security were excellent. We stayed with our family for the weekend and couldn’t have picked a better place. Oak Manor is very central, the rooms were exceptionally clean, and Vanessa and her friendly, capable team made us feel so welcome. We’ll consider staying here again.

We found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and there’s a pool on site too. The neat, well-kept rooms have their own kitchenette and bathroom, with everything you need. The venue is right next to Newlands Cricket stadium and Newlands station, and just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Claremont. Seems well suited to both a short visit and a longer, more relaxed stay.

The guesthouse is really well managed, and our room was spacious. It feels like a sanctuary tucked among the trees, while still being close to lots of attractions. We had a wonderful stay!

The location is hard to beat, the beds are super comfy, and even the coffee should please most snobs. It was a special, heart-warming experience where nothing seemed like too much trouble. You’ll come away with higher expectations than you arrived with.
