Small Bay Guest House

Everything we needed was there, it was clean, and the beach was just a one-minute walk away. I was really happy that my dog was allowed too. Well worth the money.

The guest house is beautiful, and the rooms are awesome. It's across the road from the beach and within walking distance of some great restaurants. Wilma is a polite, friendly host, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

After a long drive, the quiet setting and good location were just what we needed, with everything close by. We were glad we could bring our dog. The walls kept him safely enclosed, and as a bonus, another couple had brought their dog and the two became best buddies. Well done, Wilma. We'd recommend your place.

Wilma would probably have been a good host if I hadn’t been travelling with my dog. I explained what kind of dog I have while booking, and she said that was fine. When we arrived, she ignored my instructions for greeting him and did the opposite, so he reacted badly. Then she stood on the balcony saying she would kill him, which upset me even more. I don’t think this guesthouse should call itself pet friendly when dogs clearly aren’t welcome. After leaving, I found lovely accommodation in Sunset Beach, where the staff were caring and my dog adored them. Because of what happened here, I’d never recommend the guesthouse. I’d send people to BayBeach Inn instead, with or without a dog.
