Stadium Guest House

Louis and Leann were such lovely hosts, and we felt welcome from the start. The guest house is in a great, very safe area, just a short walk from v&a waterfront. The rooms may not be the newest, but they were completely clean and had everything we needed. We loved staying in this beautiful little place. Thanks for having us.

The owners of the guest house were so friendly and ready to help with anything. The rooms were clean and well furnished with what we needed, and they could give visitors to Cape Town good advice on what to see and where to go. Restaurants, the Seapoint promenade and major transport routes are easy to reach from this perfect location. We’ve stayed in cheaper places in the same area, but felt this offered really good value and would happily stay again.

The room was tidy and comfortable, and Louie went out of his way to get us what we wanted. There’s a remote operated garage for parking, which eased our worries about car jacking. Green Point is fairly safe, despite the stories we hear about Cape Town. The property is peaceful, with markets and restaurants about half a mile away. It’s around 2 km from the V&A Waterfront, farther than I’d expected, but otherwise superb and I’d recommend it 100%.

We felt safe throughout our stay, thanks to the lovely neighborhood and Louis being available whenever we needed him. He was a warm, friendly host and gave us lots of useful tips on safety, places to eat, and things to do. The farm-style breakfast he makes is really good and affordable. We'd happily stay again if we return to Cape Town, and recommend it to others.
