Suzie and Willy made us feel like family during the few days we stayed with them. The place had a lovely, homely feel, and Suzie is a fantastic cook. The food was delicious. Willy also gave us the best district 6 tour you could imagine. Hearing from Suzie and Willy about how they fought against apartheid was an honour. Thanks for everything!

I wanted a peaceful place to spend a few hours relaxing, painting, and eating. This place is a real gem, with a lovely homely feel and delicious fresh food. The hospitality was five star, with a good balance.

Such a personal touch, friendly staff, and the best rooster koek I've ever had. We haven't had an experience this pleasant in a long time. A must if you're looking for accommodation.

Uncle Willy and Aunty Suzie are what make this place so special and bring me back. They're warm, friendly, and have lovely personalities. See you soon 😊

Northern JOY visited Suzies Huis Kombuis in Kuilsriver for a pre-Easter celebration, and we had such a good time sharing food, laughs, conversation, and friendship. Their speciality is "Roosterkoek," and we were welcomed with true Cape Town hospitality. The decor took us back to yesteryear, which we all found fascinating.
