The Marvel Beach House

Our Queen room was magnificent, a real treat, and we didn’t want to leave. The breakfasts and coffee were delicious, and the service was excellent, with kind, caring staff who paid attention to detail. We loved every minute from arriving at The Marvel on Friday afternoon until yesterday when we left. Highly recommended! Thanks to Alick, Chris, William, Kualua, and the lady of the house for such warm hospitality. Sam, well done for creating this magnificence!

A Cape storm kept us indoors, so we couldn’t use all the amenities, but the friendly and attentive staff looked after us very well. Tabu was especially lovely, a real jewel. We spent a weekend at this marvelous guesthouse, perched on a rock overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the natural fauna at Sandy Bay. The panoramic views of the ocean and 12 Apostles were breathtaking. I’d definitely recommend The Marvel House for a break surrounded by beauty and tranquility.

Steps from the beach in Cape Town, this is an incredible getaway where you feel pampered by the staff and get to enjoy a stunning home with breathtaking views. Our host, Chris, made us feel welcome with delicious drinks and snacks, and gave us great tips on what to see and do in Cape Town. Since our flight was in the evening, we were also given a complimentary late checkout, so we could leave our luggage and enjoy the facilities through our last day. The hardest part was having to leave for our flight home. We’ll definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse and their other properties. Chris, it was a pleasure meeting you.
