There were six of us, and we had a great time. The place was clean, the pool was nice, and the staff were super friendly. We had three rooms, two standard and one deluxe. The deluxe room was smaller, with a smaller bed, though it did have a nice balcony. Thanks to Chris and the staff. We really recommend the place and will definitely come back next year.

Christian and the whole team were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. We had a great stay in this hotel. Our room was clean and spacious, with a nice balcony. The seaside is a five-minute walk away, restaurants and bars are 10-15 minutes on foot, and the city centre is a 15-minute drive.

Breakfast was just perfect, and the hotel was lovely and quiet, with exceptional rooms. We had an amazing stay on 8 January 2026. The staff were so professional and helpful in every way.

The One 8 has the three things I need in a hotel: hot water, comfortable beds, and great Wi-Fi, plus more. From my first contact through checkout, they went above and beyond. I'd give this hotel 10 stars if I could, and we'll definitely be back next year for the HSBC Cape Town 7's.

A real gem for tourists and couples, close to lots of places to explore and enjoy. The staff are attentive, helpful, and friendly, and I highly recommend it. There's a pool and jacuzzi. Children under 12 aren't allowed, and if you want to use the jacuzzi, give them at least five hours' notice so they can warm it up. When you book, look for an option that includes breakfast. It's really worth it.
