We went up for cocktails on the roof, and the views were spectacular. The cocktails were very good too: my husband had a chilli margarita, and I tried the signature gin cocktail. You need to book ahead and pay a deposit, which comes off your bill. Slots from 5 pm fill up, so book a few days in advance if you want to catch the sunset. We took lots of photos and would definitely recommend it. Our table was on the open side, and it was so windy we could barely hear each other. I asked to move to the covered, more Sherrie’s side, but was told there were no tables. When I checked myself, I saw two unreserved tables, and another staff member said we could sit there. It took a little while to get service, but the staff were friendly when they came.

The team at The Silo Hotel made our visits a real pleasure with first class service. Prince looked after us several times, and his warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made each visit memorable. He went above and beyond and is a real asset to the hotel. We wholeheartedly recommend him and the whole team, and look forward to coming back.

I’ve only been to the hotel twice, for lunch and dinner, but I’d happily make it one of my regular spots. The art, decor, and paintings are beautiful, and the rooftop views gave me one of the prettiest sunsets I’ve seen. The food and drinks look so lovely you almost don’t want to touch them, and they taste good too. The employees were friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Eugene at the front desk, Oswald at The Granary, and Admire and Emmanuel on the rooftop. Make a reservation first, since it’s very popular.

We booked at the last minute and were so glad we chose the Silo Hotel. The beautiful room and convenient location made everything easy, and the service was impeccable. Cemone made us feel welcome right away and reassured us we were in the right place. It was the perfect way to end our honeymoon in South Africa. Many thanks to the whole team for making our stay special.

I’m still buzzing from celebrating my 40th birthday at The Silo Hotel in September. They surprised me with an upgrade, and the room was breathtaking. I’ve stayed at Atlantis The Royal Dubai, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, Four Seasons Mauritius, and The Shard London, but The Silo went above and beyond them all. I’d give it 7 stars if I could. Every part of the hospitality stood out, from Sharry Brown and the Central Reservations team to the front desk, reception, door attendants, porters, waiters, managers, and room service. Everyone was warm and kind, and made me feel cared for, almost like family. The hotel was incredibly child-friendly too. It was an unforgettable experience, and one of the most magical moments of my life. I’ll cherish it forever, and I’ve been recommending The Silo to everyone I know. After this service, I’m determined to try every hotel in The Royal Portfolio!
