The rooftop pool is a lovely place to sit at sunset, with views of the mountain and ocean. The hotel is well located, just a couple of minutes from the beach. Rooms are cute and clean, and there’s a nice cafe restaurant attached that serves a good breakfast.

We’d definitely book the Tropicana Hotel again if we return to CPT. The staff, team, and management were outstanding, and the pool area was perfect. Our room had everything we needed, including a small kitchen, and was roomy enough for two. We especially liked having a balcony. Thank you very much!

I had a lovely solo stay on my second visit to Tropicana. There were a few teething issues last year, but most have been sorted out. I left detailed feedback for the team to review. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always willing to help, and they’re easy to reach on WhatsApp, with impressive response times. I’d recommend upgrading to a superior unit if you want to secure a view.

The views from the pool area on top of the building are spectacular, and the staff provide excellent service. Rooms are clean and neat, and the place is right in the center with everything close by. I can’t fault it much. The one thing I wasn’t happy with was the pool size.

Juno, the breakfast spot, is great, and the rooms are clean, nicely styled, and backed by good service. You’re right at the promenade, which for me is the best place to be. The downside is street noise. I stayed on a summer Saturday night, but it was manageable. I still slept well, and the aircon worked as white noise.
