There’s a pool and even a little stream running through the grounds, alongside a huge garden that’s nice for a stroll or just relaxing in the sun. The place has a peaceful feel, and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. It’s in Houtbay, close enough to the beach, main roads, and harbour. A hidden gem, and I’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast was the best in town, and the house and garden are beautiful. Had a great stay all around and would definitely recommend it!

The staff, owners, and lodge were all amazing, and I felt at home right away. It’s a great base for exploring the Cape region. They have dogs too 😉
