In Bloubergstrand, this is easily the best place to stay and the best value for money around. It’s managed extremely well, and the owner is always available if you have questions. I’ll definitely be back.

We spent three fantastic weeks at Thyme Spent, and some of our favourite days were spent simply relaxing by the pool with our small grandchildren, grilling, and trying excellent wines we found at farms east of Cape Town. We’d originally come to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area, and did plenty of that too. The staff, including the janitor, Alberto, and the three ladies, were kind and helpful, while keeping both indoors and outdoors clean and lovely. Deb gave us useful suggestions for restaurants suited to different occasions. It was a stay we’ll never forget, and we can only recommend Thyme Spent. Regards, Annegrete and Jesper.

Sharing breakfast and dinner with the “Thyme Spent family” was a lovely part of our stay, and we’re already hoping to return next year. We spent six wonderful weeks there, and Debra made us feel welcome from the start. Albert was always on hand for questions. Daily cleaning kept the place in good shape, and having energy available meant we didn’t have to worry about load shedding. Our time at Thyme Spent exceeded expectations. Thanks to Debra, Albert, and the whole team for making it memorable.
