Vesper was just what I needed after an international flight. It’s set off the main road and was described as soundproof, which mattered since I expected to be jet lagged and needed both proper sleep and a few days working from the unit. There was plenty of natural light, and I opened the windows each day for fresh air. I could do laundry there too. Lee-Ann greeted me in person, and the welcome felt warmer than coming home to see family. She was quick and thorough whenever we communicated. I’ve already told a few friends about Vesper, and I’d happily stay again.

We wished we could have stayed longer. Ms. Lee-Ann made us feel at home and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The rooms each felt private and sat among a lovely flower garden. It’s in a safe area, about a 20-minute walk from the center. Our room had a balcony with a really nice view, and came with a kitchenette, air conditioning, TV with Netflix, an iron, and plug adapters. Laundry was provided at no extra charge.

We were in Cape Town for a couple of days to see friends, and Vesper Apartments worked out so well. It’s well placed for getting to attractions including the Waterfront, Table Mountain, and the beaches. Lee-Anne was a wonderful host who clearly put in extra effort to make sure guests had a great stay. My wife and I loved it, and we’ll be back.

We travelled a long way from home, but staying at Vesper made us feel at home there too. Our group of 13 rented every room, and we all enjoyed the stay. The place is in a lovely spot, with plenty of cafes serving good food and the beach close by. Each room was carefully arranged, clean, and organized. I coordinated the booking three months ahead, and Lee-Anne patiently answered all my questions. Even with our late arrival because of traffic, she greeted us herself. Just perfect.

Vesper is right by shops and cafes at the bottom of the road, and getting around is easy. Cape Town Stadium and Green Point park are only a few minutes away on foot; the V&A Waterfront is about a 20-minute walk or an easy Uber ride, and the beaches are a five-minute drive. After our long flight from Australia, Peter and Lee-Anne made check-in and the stay feel wonderful. Lee-Anne even had a car waiting for my two-year-old, knowing how much he likes cars, which helped him settle in. The room was clean and well equipped, and we had a stunning bay view. Some rooms face a courtyard with a lovely garden of native flowers, and I’d be happy with either view. It felt like a home away from home. I’ll stay here next time, and I praise Vesper wherever I go.
