The apartment was clean, but there was no stove. I hadn't asked about one because I assumed every apartment had it. What made the stay so bad was the renovation work that began on my first day. There was scaffolding, hammering, and workers right by the bedroom window, with no apparent consideration for guests or our safety. From 8am to 4pm, the noise made it impossible to hold my meetings. I complained to Jade, who said she'd raise it with security and the body corporate, and offered to bring me a box of biscuits. That didn't address the problem. It was the worst experience I've had, and the hosts showed no regard for us.
