The grounds were beautifully kept, the gym was very nice, and the service was fantastic. Breakfast was top quality, easily a 9.5/10, and our “rhino room” had a lovely grassy play area for our one-year-old, with direct access to the pool and the pool room with its fireplace. The view was incredible, too. We started our Cape Town and wine region trip here and wished we hadn't made it our first accommodation, since the other places had a lot to live up to. It's set a little way up the mountain, but Old Italy, Simon’s, and Groot winery are a five-minute drive away. Booking gives it a 9.7/10, which feels a bit high, though the place is very excellent. We did miss having a hot tub for colder evenings. We loved our stay and would come back.

Elijah deserves a mention for being so friendly and professional. The rooms are roomy, thoughtfully designed, and have really comfortable beds. This is a guest house, so breakfast is provided but there aren't other meals. There's also a well-stocked honesty bar and a well-equipped gym. It's a beautiful place with stunning views, and it's become my go-to whenever I'm in Cape Town.

The staff were kind, attentive, and knew their stuff, and we really appreciated having a gym on site. Our room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. The dining room looked gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. Set in the hills of Constancia, this is a beautiful modern retreat with wide views all the way to the ocean. A lovely oasis, and a real gem to book.

Daniel, Elijah, and the whole team were amazing and made sure everything was just right. Ask them to arrange the airport pickup, too. Their driver Collins is a wonderful person. The breakfast was a dream, and the stylish, carefully planned room had a fantastic view. I honestly had one of the best sleeps of my life. This is probably the best property we've ever stayed at. When we come to Cape Town, we'll always choose villa lion view.

The hosts are attentive and so welcoming that we felt at ease and well looked after right away. Villa Lion View is spotless, modern, and has an incredible view. One of our best stays in Cape Town, highly recommended.
