Wilton Manor

I spent around two weeks at the guesthouse and had a wonderful time. Everyone was so kind that it felt like staying at a friend’s home. The place is very nice, with beautiful decorations, and breakfast was made to my wishes each morning. The area is pleasant, and it’s quick to get around Capetown from there. Big recommendation, and thanks for the great stay.

The staff are great, and Nadine’s baking at breakfast is superb! I love coming back to this beautiful guest house that feels like it’s from another era. The wood detailing is unbelievable.

The location was handy, about a 20-minute walk to the V&A, aquarium, and Green Point bus stop for the red and blue Hop-on, hop-off buses and the Cape Point tour. There are plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk in a safe neighbourhood. Security was fantastic, with a fob for the front gate and door, a room key, a key-code safe in the wardrobe, and a night guard. The property is beautiful, well laid out, and thoughtfully decorated. Our room was large, comfortable, quiet, and well furnished. The owners and managers accommodated our requests to arrive early to leave our bags and to extend our stay. The inviting interior and exterior common areas were well maintained and furnished, with lots of natural wood. We tried sitting in different spots during our three days there. It was a bit too chilly to use the inviting pool. Breakfast in the common areas had cereals, baked goods, cold choices, and hot food cooked to order. Very tasty.
