WINK Eaton Square

Breakfast was the best part, amazing, with lots of choices. The rooms look neat, but the floors were sticky and not clean. The place has potential, and I hope they deal with some of these issues. There were no blankets in the room, and I had to ask reception twice. I used the same towel for three days because they said they were waiting for the laundry service. There were no TV channels, just a few internet channels nobody watches, and no air-conditioning or fan. No mats by the bed either. The plug sockets are behind the bed, so you have to pull it forward to charge a phone or laptop. That's how minimalistic this hotel/apartment complex feels.

It's a very neat place, and thank you to Thabiso and Pretty for helping us. Stay as sweet and humble as you are, and may God bless you, you deserve the best. But the braai restrictions were a big turn-off for me. The braai area is reserved for long-stay residents, and gatherings aren't allowed. We usually travel as a group and need somewhere to sit together and relax. I'm used to places where you can do things more freely.

The room had a smelly carpet and a loud noise all night, like faulty pipes, so I barely slept. They didn't clean the apartment until after 3 pm, which was ridiculous, and the customer service was poor. Very disappointing. Save your money and don't book here!

It's a convenient setup, with residential apartments alongside hotel rooms. You can buy an investment apartment and have the hotel fully service it. There's a coffee shop in the lobby that's open to the public, and the east-facing units have great mountain views.
