The hotel is 1.2 km from the waterfront and easy to reach from the highway. Breakfast was good, with plenty of variety and friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. The bedding was clean, but the hotel doesn't seem properly maintained. The finish after repairs looks shoddy. Hiring professionals for maintenance might cost more upfront but less in the long run, and would make the place feel more upmarket. The water wasn't very hot, so I had a lukewarm shower, and I had trouble with the access card. More attention to detail is needed. Just some constructive criticism.

The rooms were spacious and clean, though the lighting was poor, especially in the shower. There's a good breakfast right beside the hotel, and the staff were attentive and kind. Reception closes at 7 PM, after which a security guard stays inside. The hotel sits in the middle of a square, so taxis can't drop you right at the entrance. The square is often visited by drug users and homeless people, especially at night, and even in daytime it felt unsafe. I strongly recommend not walking there at night.

I booked for one night, and the room had no hot water, so I had to take a cold shower. Reception was closed after 7 pm, with only a security guard to sign me in. There was no reception overnight, no phone in the room to call them, and no complimentary water. When I left at 8:20 am, reception still wasn't open, so I left the room card on the front desk. It really didn't feel like a four-star establishment.
