The staff were welcoming and ready to help, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The care put into the details stood out. Lauriston Guesthouse has a peaceful, beautifully kept setting and a homely charm that helps you unwind as soon as you arrive. It works well for a business trip or a quiet break. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

There’s a calm feeling to the place as soon as you arrive, and it’s really clean and beautiful. The showers are too small, though, so that needs some attention. I’d rate it 9.5 out of 10.

A charming little place with a touch of Polish medieval style. It’s wonderfully quiet, though quite secluded and a long way from shops and other tourist spots.

I keep staying here because booking gets handled quickly and Madelyn and Pieter are so welcoming. They’ve made a stylish place feel relaxed and homely, and everything you need in a guesthouse is close at hand.

The rooms have a lovely quaint feel, and the property is pleasant, clean, and well cared for. Breakfast was the letdown: the buffet had very few choices, and the plate from the menu didn’t have much food on it. For what we paid for a weekend, it didn’t feel like the full package.
