What made our stay stand out was how Suki and Taki looked after us. After a full day of work, we could shower and find dinner ready, then relax on the patio with a glass of wine and watch the moon rise over the ocean. My wife especially loved those evenings. The room had a lovely view and was well equipped for a good night's rest. Suki also made a full English breakfast, but remember to arrange it with her the day before. This is a well-priced, well-located place to stay in Chintsa on the Amatola coast, and we'd gladly return.

Being a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe here, and the sweet dog was an extra treat. The bed was super comfortable, and Chintsa beach is just a stone's throw away. 158 on Marlin is a beautiful, clean house, with quiet nights and hosts, Suki & Taki, who were so lovely and accommodating. They'd even thought of small touches like chocolate and hot water bottles. I've stayed in quite a few places around South Africa over the years, and this is one of my favourites. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
