Crawfords Beach Lodge

My wife and I had our wedding reception here in 2012, and the place still holds a special place in my heart. It was stunningly beautiful and just right for the occasion. The accommodation was nice, the food and service were amazing, and the beach and scenery were gorgeous for our photo shoot after the reception. It was affordable then, though I don't know what it costs 13 years later. I felt it was well worth it and highly recommend the place.

We visited with the ChangeChella group in November 2025 and had a wonderful stay. The welcome was warm, the staff were genuinely friendly, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The food and service were excellent. A special thank you to the dining room team: Leo, Noma, Asi, Preach, Zethu, and Nigel, the loyal AmaZulu FC supporter :-). They were professional and hospitable throughout. Thanks for the outstanding service. We hope to come back one day.

The beach was stunning, and the facilities were great. The accommodation is laid out on terraces, with two pools and a few pubs. The owner's caring manner also stood out. From the moment we arrived, everything at reception was handled professionally, including getting beach towels and going over restaurant times. The restaurant food was great, and the chef, team, and attentive waiters deserve credit. Special thanks to Matteus: we left our lunch packs behind, and I spotted him in my rearview mirror running after us with them. All in all, a 150% experience.

The Saturday night seafood extravaganza was a real highlight, and the food overall was excellent. We stayed four nights at Crawfords Beach Lodge on a full-board package with the family, and had an incredible time. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the beachfront location is beautiful. It was a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and we'd definitely return. Highly recommend it.
