Jamie-Lee was a pleasure to work with, and the owner, Mariaan, was kind and accommodating. The venue has what you need for a conference, meeting, or event. We held an event at the Citrusdal Country Lodge and it was fabulous. The whole team took care of everything and made me feel at home. They had such a peaceful manner that I felt completely at ease. We'll definitely come back.

The breakfast went beyond what I expected, definitely 5 star, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a special touch. The rooms were very comfortable, with an old-world charm.

The restaurant food is amazing, and there's a good range at breakfast. I love coming here when I'm in Citrusdal. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

The restaurant was just ok, but passable for a small country hotel. It made for a good stop on an off-road trip. Bring drinks and snacks, though, as there's nowhere close by to walk and stock up. On arrival I worried I'd made a mistake. The area seemed dodgy, with lots of people out, plenty of shouting, and pedestrians who didn't seem to care about staying safe. But the reception was lovely, the parking felt secure, and inside it was calm and quiet. The room looked like a throwback to the last century, maybe even the one before, and I loved it. It was clean and comfortable, with a clear, inviting pool just outside the patio door.

The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The pool was clean, the staff friendly, and the aircon kept working through the deadly summer heat.
