We only used the place to sleep while going out to see the flowers, so the average accommodation was okay for that. The kitchen was clean and had all the essentials. But the room was really cold, with no heater or AC, and we had to ask for extra blankets.

A friendly, helpful host and a quiet spot, yet close to restaurants and other amenities. The self-catering place was spacious and very well equipped, with a good bed and shower. We also appreciated the rusks, coffee and tea, plus the big fruit bowl. Handy as a base for exploring the area.

I stayed in Unit 5B, which is neat, clean and beautiful. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles, but there are stairs, so it isn't suitable for older people or families with small children. Unit 5A is a single-room unit on the ground floor. I'd definitely return.

We chose this property because it advertised AC, and paid more than for other places in the area that didn't offer it. In this desert climate it can get quite hot by day, even in winter. The owner had removed the remotes and disabled the AC. When we asked for it to be provided as advertised, she got angry and rude and refused to turn it on. That felt fraudulent and wasn't okay. The property is large, but not cosy, with harsh cold-white lights. It's beside what looked like an abandoned industrial building, in what seemed like an unpleasant part of town, and we didn't feel safe.
