Simbavati Cederberg Ridge

We haven’t stayed in the rooms, though they look clean and well maintained. We did eat at the restaurant, and the food was really good, with great service and a very nice wine selection. The views are amazing too.

Every detail was flawless from arrival to departure, and this was without question the highlight of our honeymoon. I genuinely struggle to find words for how special the property and the whole experience were.

The team were outstanding throughout our stay, always friendly, attentive, and proactive. Special thanks to Christian at reception and the restaurant staff, who went out of their way for us. On our last night we returned to find a candlelit bath already run, such a thoughtful touch. We came to Simbavati Cederberg Ridge for a peaceful, luxurious escape, and the remote, quiet setting was ideal for switching off. The lodge has an elegant, modern feel and a calm atmosphere. Our Superior Pool Suite upgrade was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless, with a private terrace, heated pool, double bathrooms, and indoor and outdoor showers. Housekeeping refreshed the room promptly when we went out, and laundry was quick and efficient. Breakfast and dinner were included, both excellent, with plenty of choice and daily specials. Restaurant service was consistently great. We didn’t try the hikes or tours, but enjoyed the spa treatments, especially the relaxing massage and pedicure. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly looked after, even offered dinner before check-in. A high-quality place to relax and recharge, especially for couples. Highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful without exception, and the location and views were superb. Our suite was expensive, but worth it, and the service was outstanding, with housekeeping twice a day. It’s an utterly relaxing place. On the final night, we came back to a gorgeous candlelit bathroom with a full, warm, scented bath waiting. Simply heavenly. Our one suggestion is that the food could use less fuss and more attention to the quality of the cooking. Even so, we’d definitely visit again. We had a very lovely stay.
