Bergvliet felt like a home away from home. We had a blast and are definitely going back in summer.

Michelle & Joe Pretorius & family members stayed at Eiger Cottage for two nights, from 30th Dec 2024 - 1st January, 2025. We really enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer. The surroundings are lovely and quiet, and the cottage is clean, warmly furnished, and has everything you need. There are beautiful walks and trail runs close by to explore. Hopefully we'll get the chance to come back soon.

For our annual trip to the Clarens Beer Festival, Bergvliet was perfectly placed. It's close enough to town that you don't miss what's going on, but far enough out for some peace and quiet. The short walk back in the evening turns into a beautiful stroll under the stars. Our only frustration was the power and water shedding, which wasn't the accommodation's fault. Super frustrating.
