We often come here for workshops. The location and view are lovely, the rooms are beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar is a great place for a drink before dinner, and the fireplace adds to the atmosphere on cooler days. The road from the hotel towards town needs attention, though. On our last two visits the food wasn't up to its old standard, with some outstanding meals and others that weren't great.

We travelled to the hotel for a spa booking, then waited at reception for a while. When we got to the spa, they told us there had been a double booking. Nobody from the spa had called to let us know, so we could have made other arrangements. Poor service.

The rooms were clean, and they’re set up well for little ones if you’re travelling with a baby. The staff were wonderful, and we really enjoyed the food. We had such a nice, relaxed stay here. Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality, and keep up the great service 🙂
