We rented the Main House and Annex at St Fort Farm, 10kms outside Clarens. The house has a lovely feel, with fireplaces, spacious bedrooms, a beautiful English garden, and stunning mountain views from the covered patio. The farmhouse kitchen is well appointed, and the farm is a fabulous place to get away. Clarens and magnificent hiking trails are easy to reach.

The cottage interior was beautiful, neat, and cozy, and the views and scenery took my breath away. The staff were kind and helped with every enquiry. We were looked after from start to finish during our weekend stay for the Craft Beer Festival in Clarens. If I could, I’d make this my regular place to stay every time I visit Clarens.

The cave with san paintings and the views across the farm made the hike worthwhile, even after a wet week and during a rainy weekend. We stayed in the hikers accommodation, which had everything we needed and more, including plenty of hot water. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating, and St Fort is conveniently close to Clarens.

We had the best time staying in the main farm house this week. There are lovely gardens and amazing hiking trials on the farm. The house and bedrooms are spacious but still cozy, and the kitchen is well equipped. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!
