Mountain View

A serene, tranquil spot for a very nice getaway.

We had the large upstairs apartment, looking out over the garden, river, and dunes. The bedroom at the back was completely quiet, with no noise from the N2 or the gas station. The apartment had everything we needed, including a microwave for food from Spar. The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was generous and thoughtfully prepared, with fresh fruit like strawberries and blueberries. Sundune worked well for our two nights while visiting Addo Elephant National Park. It’s right on the river, with dunes across from it, and just 3 km from the Addo South Gate. The restaurant nearby was the only one around, but we skipped it after reading reviews that mentioned food poisoning. We picked up freshly cooked food at the Spar next door instead. The gas station is next door too, so there’s a fair bit of traffic, though that didn’t disturb us. We also enjoyed a walk by the water in the afternoon. Everything suited us, and we’d definitely come back. Thanks so much.

Everyone should take note of the excellent service. Have you ever seen hotel staff overcharge you on the spot? Hahaha 🤣 I’ve already put 30 lamps on in the courtyard.
