The garden is lovely and peaceful, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. We especially loved the service, always delivered with the warmest smiles. The spa is such a welcome break from the city and our busy work schedule. My husband and I were given a spa treatment for Christmas by our son and his lovely wife, so we made a trip to the Midlands. Healing Earth Spa at Brahman Hills is still our absolute favourite. From the minute we arrived, the staff and therapists made us feel cared for. They were warm and professional, and the whole visit felt unforgettable. Keep up the wonderful service. The whole team is amazing!

We made good use of the fireplace in the evenings and enjoyed the jacuzzi. Wi-Fi worked without interruption about 95% of the time, and the drinks and cookies in the villa were a nice touch. Breakfast was enjoyable each day, and we explored the gardens and walking trails. The staff were friendly and responsive, and our housekeeper was lovely. She came in daily and cleaned discreetly when we were there. The cottage had a comfortable farmhouse feel, but a few things needed maintenance. The shower doors didn't close properly, the old window frames made the windows hard to open, and the bathroom sinks were small and impractical for anything beyond washing hands. It would also have been useful to have a smart TV in the lounge. We wanted to watch Netflix at times, but only the bedroom TV had smart functions. The setting is lovely, though work on the serenity gardens meant excavators and dig sites spoiled the valley view from our cottage. I assume the zebra and bucks stayed away for the same reason, although a male buck visited every day and our kids named him George. With the views disrupted, we felt the nightly cottage and villa rates should have been discounted. I'm sure Brahman Hills will be a superb weekend spot once the serenity gardens are finished and the wildlife returns.

I was blown away by how beautiful the place is. No wonder my sister wanted us to see where she plans to contribute for our wedding. The area was gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the spa experience. There was one part I wasn't happy with: Ntobes service after the massage. Still, I don't want to dwell on the negative, because the spa itself and everything around it was fantastic. Roxy, MaMtolo and Dineo gave such great service. I'm definitely coming back. Now, where's the champagne? 🍾

For photos, the venue is beautiful, and there's ample parking. The Stables wedding venue has a lovely view, with a chapel featuring rock-lined walls, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and a water feature that added something special to the day. Cocktails and canapes were served on the patio overlooking the hills. The reception space was beautifully decorated, and the staff were friendly, professional, and well trained. The bathrooms were also stocked with extras guests might need, including deodorant, Gaviscon, and dental flossers.

The facilities were quite pleasant, especially the sauna, steam room, and pool, and the scenery is breathtaking. It's a lovely escape from city life. But I was really looking forward to the massage, and it was beyond disappointing. I've had much better massages at spas charging less than half this price. They asked me to fill out a long questionnaire about my concerns and the kind of massage I wanted, but it felt like they ignored it. Afterwards, my body didn't feel as though it had been touched at all. It was basically just oil. I left disappointed and will probably return for the facilities, but not for treatments.
