We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in the area. Our room was lovely, with a really comfortable bed and a huge, luxurious bathroom that even had a freestanding tub. Monica looked after us so well, bringing freshly made breakfast and baked treats. This little guesthouse sits right on the cliff road, and every room has a stunning, uninterrupted view of Walker Bay.

The whales were around every day, swimming close to shore while we enjoyed the excellent breakfasts. We miss those breakfasts already. There was a range of menu choices to make the day before, and the yoghurt and fresh fruit were delicious. We even joked you wouldn’t get this at Hermanus, the whale mecca. We were upgraded to a larger room with an even better sea view when we checked in. The rooms were tidy, the linen clean, and the bed firm enough for a good night’s sleep. Monica lit the fireplace for us each evening, so we could eat dinner in front of a warm fire. There’s parking behind the guesthouse for three cars, and safe parking out front too. You can’t beat the views, food, fireplace, or service. The owner and host were so accommodating. We only wish we’d had time to stay longer.

We had a wonderful time, with the ocean right there in view from our bed. Monica was such an amazing host, really the Mama of Africa. We could reach her on WhatsApp, and she did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. THANKS!!! 😍

Monica was incredible and made us feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was honestly the cherry on top. The location is amazing, and the accommodation was absolutely pristine. Best place ever!
